March of Dimes Nursing Scholarships To provide financial assistance to RN's enrolled in graduate programs of maternal and child nursing. Amount Awarded: $5000Number Awarded: 4 each year.Duration: 1 year.Deadline: January of each year.Eligibility: This program is open to RN's who are enrolled in an graduate programs in maternal and child nursing. Applicants must be a member ACNM, NANN, or AWHONN. They must submit 2-page essay on their educational plan; career goals and how they correlate with the mission of the March of Dimes to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects and infant mortality; past, current, and planned involvement in nursing for mothers and infants; and why the applicant should be awarded the scholarship.
